Pastors & Elders

The Pastoral Team believes that Jesus is the Chief Shepherd of the church and that we serve him as his under shepherds. When Jesus ascended, He did not abdicate His earthly oversight of the church to a single man, but appointed a team of men to oversee his church. We have found the New Testament always speaks of plurality in eldership and we practice that in a team format. We presently have five pastors-elders who share the ministry. Two of them are on staff full-time, but all have their areas of gifting and responsibility. We function as a team, looking to one another and to Jesus for wisdom and direction. We seek to honor one another's gifting and anointing, allowing each elder to minister in his area of gifting and strength. We promote the practice of team in all areas of our church life so everyone who wants to serve will find a place of service. Team best expresses for us the mandates of Ephesians 4:11-13.
